Choosing gifts for a baby shower can be a difficult task, especially if you have no idea what others may be buying to take to the shower. Many of the things that new parents need are very basic, practical and........well, boring. As much as a ton of diapers will be very useful, they are not pretty to look at; similarly with baby wipes, baby oils and just about everything else that will eb needed for baby care.

This is where a collection of gifts presented attractively can come in very handy, and why baby shower gift baskets are so popular. You can make up a basket of baby necessities, put them in some sort of attractive basket or container, and then present them as a shower gift in one piece.

However, there are other baby gifts that are not so boring and practical as diapers and wet wipes. Having a baby is a good time and a good excuse to have a bit of fun as well; the baby will soon be joining in with the parents and siblings.
